Hello and welcome to the Frontline Comics Project! This project, launched by the GraphicMedicine International Collective, connects frontline workers with comics artists to create graphic narratives of experience from the frontlines of the COVID19 pandemic. This project brought together artists and storytellers of different walks of life from across the globe together to create these unique works. The stories told by these frontline workers are both powerful and surprising. The immense talent of the cartoonists who brought these comics to life will amaze you.
We will be presenting the first 7 comics of this project at the 2022 Graphic Medicine Conference in Chicago during The Frontline Worker and Public Health Comics panel on Saturday July 16 at 8:30am CST. We will be joined by the cartoonists, frontline workers and facilitators who created these amazing works.
And this is just the beginning. Stay tuned- more frontline comics to come!
