Hatiye Garip
Hatiye Garip is an illustrator, comic artist, and designer in Istanbul, Turkey. She likes to draw birds, flowers and ordinary moments. Her works have been exhibited and published in many countries, including Portugal, Belgium, Slovakia, Lithuania, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, South Korea, the USA, and the UK. She was an Adobe Creative Residency Community Fund recipient in 2020. Garip’s recently completed picture book, Making My Own Way, focuses on her childhood memories of her grandmother. Meredith Li-Vollmer
Meredith Li-Vollmer is a communications manager at Public Health – Seattle & King County and clinical assistant professor in Health Systems and Population Health at the University of Washington School of Public Health. Meredith is also a cartoonist and on the board of Short Run Comix and Arts. Her comics have been published in The Stranger, MUTHA, Illustrated PEN, and the American Journal of Public Health. She is author of Graphic Public Health: A Comics Anthology and Roadmap (Penn State University Press/APHA Press).
